From Yokohama to Honolulu, and into business for herself
When June Fernandez moved to Honolulu from Yokohama in 1972, she didn't set out to start a staffing agency. She built a career in Hawaii's tourism and travel industry, developed deep ties to the local business community, and learned firsthand what it looked like when employers and workers found the right fit — and what it cost when they didn't.
When her employer closed, she saw both an opportunity and a need. In 2003, she founded Alliance Personnel on a simple belief: that employers deserve more than a pile of résumés, and that job seekers deserve more than a transaction.
More than twenty three years later, that belief still guides everything we do.
